The LANGUAGE MAGICIAN project is doing well in its successful long-distance run to deliver the most innovative assessment tool for language teaching at primary schools world-wide. And we have set a date for our conference marking the end of the project and delivering the results of our work over the last three years. The conference’s motto is ‘Assessment with a magic touch’ and we warmly invite primary school teachers in the UK to attend the event on 19 May 2018 at Westminster University in London, Regent Street Campus. Please have a look at our programme. https://www.thelanguagemagician.net/programme/
The programme offers workshops and materials with a lot of ideas that can be used in connection with the computer game but also without using it. Teachers interested in new ideas teaching oral skills or wanting to find out about assessing languages at primary school level in general are very welcome.
An intercultural session run by representatives from all the countries involved in the project will conclude the programme. The ‘Magical Food Tour with Winivil’s Recipes’ will be a culinary and cultural experience replicable in classrooms and a handout with recipes will be provided for teachers attending.
We are looking forward to your registrations. Travel subsidies for teachers coming from outside the London area are available. Please apply via the registration form.
